Happy Birthday Haley!

I just wanted to take a moment and wish Haley Noel a Happy Birthday! I hope you have a wonderful day and you get a chance to enjoy it with your family. I miss you lots! Happiest Birthday to the greatest friend anyone could ask for...you're truly a blessing! Love ya girl!

New News...Again! :)

Last night Ricky and I were playing with Addison. I sat her up in the floor and she held herself there for about 5 minutes (that's the longest she's ever "sat up"). Of course I'm videoing her the entire time, too! So then Ricky says, "Let's see if you can roll over." Of course I'm thinking to myself, yea right! He lays her down and puts a Capri Sun by her head and sure enough SHE DID IT...finally! She rolled over for the first time last night-from her back to her belly...AND I caught the entire thing on video...yay! I can't believe how much she's growing and I can't believe how smart she is. I'm so proud of her...Mommy loves you Baby Girl! :)

My First Tooth...

For those of you that don't already know...Addison got her first tooth last Wednesday, April 15th. I don't have any pictures yet. Only because everytime I try to take a picture, she gets mad and closes her mouth. Plus, it's just shinning through so it's pretty impossible to see!
I noticed it when she grabbed my hand and put my finger in her mouth. As soon as I get some good pics-I'll post them.

He is Risen

Easter Sunday was a very busy day for the Pauley's. We woke up at 8:00am to get ready for Church. Before Church we gave Addison her Easter Basket and took a few pictures. Then we headed to Sunday School. After Church we went to Ricky's Mamaw and Papaw's for lunch/dinner then to my Parents house and then to my Mamaw and Papaw's. It was nice to see all of the family!
Sometimes with all of the commotion, it's easy to loose sight of the true meaning of Easter! Hunting Easter Eggs, Easter Baskets, buying new clothes or spending time with family isn't what the Holiday is about. I do hope this year you and your family found time to celebrate the true meaning of Easter- the resurrection of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

It is extremely difficult to get 2 babies to look at the camera at the same time-this is the best I could do!

Ok, this is a picture of Addison and "Margaret". Yes, the bunny has a name. My Aunt (who is a nut...love you Char!) named her. She said that Addison had to have her picture taken with "Margaret" on Easter, so she brought the bunny and the basket of eggs to my Mamaw's just for the picture...priceless!

This is the first time Justin held her, he did very well! :)

The Top of the Mountain State...4/10/2009

This past weekend was a long weekend for both Ricky and I-thank the Lord! I think Ricky has had 4 days off (only holidays) since he started his job in August. He decided that he wanted to take a road trip Friday and take Addison out-of-town for the first time. We woke up early and headed for Canaan Valley-and everywhere else in between. We stopped at the WV Wildlife Center, Canaan Valley, Seneca Rocks, Spruce Knob and we drove by Blackwater Falls, Cass Railroad, The Sago Mine Disaster and Hawks Nest. There are so many things to do in that area that I think we could spend an entire weekend with no rest. I was sick for the first 6 hours of the trip, but when we arrived at Spruce Knob, I couldn't help but take some pictures. For those of you that don't know, Spruce Knob is the highest point in WV with an elevation of 4,863 feet. Thanks for my road trip honey! WV truly is a beautiful state!

Little Man's First Tooth...

My nephew has been teething for about 3 months now-I think. I've been waiting any day for him to get his "first tooth." Last night after church I got a call from my Brother. He tells me that Little Jerrick got his first tooth and it's really showing through. We talked about it for a few minutes and I start to get SO excited to see it-first things only come by once and I didn't want to miss my opportunity to see. Bubby said it started coming in yesterday and that it's really showing through today... he seemed to be excited about the new development. Finally he tells me to get on Myspace and take a look. It may have taken me 3 seconds to log on...I couldn't bare the anticipation of seeing that first tooth shinning through...

And what to my eager eyes should appear?....

My nephew and his smile stretched from ear to ear!

I laughed so hard that I cried! And I'm not exaggerating...tears rolled down my face. Even with his Bubba Teeth, he's still ABSOLUTELY ADORABLE and I love him just the same! :)

What a Beautiful Day!

Yesterday was ACTUALLY a beautiful day in WV. My car read 82, but I'm not sure how accurate those car temperatures actually are! Ricky decided to wash his truck yesterday and so I took Addison Rae outside to "sit" on the porch with me. I got her a Bumbo seat for Easter (shhh, don't tell anyone she's already using it) and she adores it! She loves that she can sit up and look around. I got it about 2 weeks ago and I knew if I didn't let her use it, she'd outgrow it. I'm letting her use it now then I'm going to wrap it up for Easter morning...LOL!

BTW...it was 82 yesterday and its 45 today-snow tomorrow! Welcome to Good 'Ole WV!

A Baby in Her Robe.

I absolutely adore this picture. She looks so content/cute! Her robe, yes robe, has a giraffe and little "antennas"! Her favorite thing to do after she gets a bath is be naked (when I say naked, I mean not wear a diaper). So lots of times I put one of her many robes on and let her get some air.

She is SO beautiful!

I love this picture, only because this was one of the few times Scuffs has ever jumped on the couch where the baby is. Scuffs is very "finicky" and she pretty much hates anything that annoys her-including me, sometimes!
