Merry Christmas

I haven't posted in a very long time.  Quit frankly it's because I don't have time, but I thought it would be a good idea to sneak one last post in for 2010. 

2010 has brought so many changes to my life.  But the most significant change is that I've realized that my "baby" isn't a baby anymore-she's a little woman.

She brings such joy to my heart!!! 

Addison is so funny-she LOVES baby dolls, shopping, Little People (the Fisher Price ones-not "real" ones), and her kitchen set.  She is definitely all girl and I love it!! 

She keeps me laughing! :)

Sweet Summertime...

I know that it's been a VERY long time since I've posted.  So many things have happened over the past 3 months.  This post may be lengthy-my apologies in advance. :)

MAY

Addison & Jerrick were able to spend some time together before the new baby cousin arrived.

Addison & Colt also had some quality time spent together, as did Haley & I. :) I always enjoy time spent with my friend her little one! 

JUNE

Addison's first time catching lightening bugs... :)

She is SUCH an angel.  Even when I'm having a HORRIBLE day and nothing seems to go right, she's the one to make it better.  Just her beautiful smile makes it ALL worth it! :)

Ricky's Papaw's Birthday

Ricky also had a Birthday in June.  :) Happy Birthday Daddy!  I hope you had a wonderful day.

We also had a new addition in the Marker family.  Rayleigh Brooke Marker was born on June 18, 2010 at 2:58am.  She weighed 7lbs, 2ozs.  She is SUCH a beautiful baby & SO good!!

We were able to take Addison to the Columbus Zoo.  She LOVED it! Her favorite part was probably that she got to go w/ her best friend-Kaegan.

JULY

The fireworks were BEAUTIFUL this year. 

I adore this picture of Ricky & Addison.  It's probably one of my favs! :)

This past weekend, we took Addison to the Pontiac Car Show on the Boulevard.  I was SO proud of her that she didn't take off her glasses OR her jewelry the entire time.  She LOVED it!

We also made it to the Putnam County Fair.  :) The ONLY ride she would even think about was the swings.  She didn't want to get off.

Easter 2010

Happy Easter everyone (that's to the 2 of you that actually read my blog!) :)  I know it's late, but better late than never I always say.  So, I don't have a lot to say, BUT I do have a lot of pictures.  So I'm pretty much just going to caption each picture...enjoy!

These were taken a few weeks before Easter.  The dress is MUCH cuter without the long shirt under it, but it was pretty chilly that day so I felt it was necessary. 

I was in the TV room the other day doing something when I missed her for a little while.  It was quiet, so I knew something was going.  About the time I got up to go check on her, I hear "Mommy, Mommy, Mommy...".  When I looked in her room-THIS had happened.  Her room is always VERY nice and tidy.  I am a neat freak (just ask Ricky) so I try to keep everything put away at all times (except for toys and they get put away while she's sleeping).  So EVERYTHING that is in the floor is from Ms. Mess.  She literally pulled all of her clothes out just so she could get in the armoire.  I just started BUSTING when I saw it and ran to get the camera.  Gotta love her...

Here's the Easter basket we got her.  The only candy we got her was fruit snacks.  She LOVES them.  She gets that from her Daddy.  I can buy Ricky fruit snacks and within 3 hours the ENTIRE box is gone...it's rather costly...LOL  Mommy prefers the REAL fruit-not the fake stuff. :)

Ok, so there's a reason I took a picture of a pair of shoes.  :)  These were mine when I was Addison's age.  I LOVE when she gets to wear things that were mine...it probably makes me the happiest person ever. When Mom gave them to me, they were still in the original box WITH the receipt.  That's pretty amazing considering that was like 25 years ago!

I hope you all had a blessed Easter and that you also remember the true meaning of Easter-not the eggs and baskets.  HE IS RISEN! I'm truly thankful for my Savior and His MANY blessings on me.  I would like to give Him the praise for a recent event...Dad went the his heart doctor Monday for a stress test and everything came back great.  THANK YOU LORD-His love truly is abundant!
