The Past Month!

I'm fully aware that it's been a VERY long time since I've blogged. Some people always remind me that I need to do it (Audella...love you!). It's just hard sometimes when you work, take care of a baby, husband and housework. I read somewhere (more than once) that a Mother's job is never done. I don't think I fully understood what a Mother entails until I became one. It’s definitely very stressful and exhausting, but it’s definitely all worth it!

The coat she's wearing in these pictures was mine when I was her age.  Mom kept it in GREAT condition in hopes that one day I would have a baby girl and she could wear it too.  I guess this coat is about 24 years old now and it looks brand new.  It definitely means a great deal to me that she is able to wear something that was mine!

Ricky, Addison and I went to the Amish Country with his parents for Valentine weekend.  We got there around 5 on Friday night, so of course the entire town was shut down.  The only thing left to do was go swimming! :)  Addison had a wonderful time and she LOVES the water just as much as I do.

Addison also had a Doctor's appointment last Monday, February 15th.  She weighed in at 25 pounds and she's 32 1/2 inches long.  She did SO good this time until she had to have her shots.  Because she's getting so big, I had to hold her hands and Ricky had to hold her legs.  It was heartbreaking, but she stopped crying in no time!
